Since 1973, AMC has been a leading supplier
of woodworking products and services including rough carpentry, finished millwork,
restoration work, and construction to major industrial, commercial, and institutional
projects in Southern Ontario.
Founded by Mario Borsato, the company employs approximately twenty people
skilled in carpentry, architectural technology, project management and CAD drafting.
Most of our people have been with Art Magic
Carpentry for many years. In
our opinion, this has been an important factor in enabling us to provide our clients
with a consistently high quality product and level of service at each stage of
the project.
All site work is carried out by our
certified carpenters who are members of Local 27, Ontario Provincial Council,
Carpenters and Joiners of America. They
install standing and running trim, frames and doors, screens, cabinetry, paneling,
etc. and specialize in timber framing and Alucobond cladding as well.
Site work is closely supervised by Mario Borsato who is himself
a certified carpenter and Architectural Woodwork Specialist with forty-one
years experience in the building trade. Bidding
and project management is supervised by Vince Parolin, an Architectural
Technologist with twenty-six years experience. In 2006, Vince was appointed president of AWMAC.
Large projects typically require a variety of products produced from a broad range
of materials including plastic laminate, wood veneers, solid wood, and solid surfaces.
By collaborating with established woodworking companies--each specializing
in a particular product type--we provide a full range of
millwork to complete large projects in a professional and timely manner.
Art Magic Carpentry provides all the
shop drawings and assumes full responsibility for quality control and adherence
to the specifications. When AMC
is contracted to a project, the General Contractor, Architect or Owner can deal
with a single millwork provider, bringing the specialized expertise of numerous
shops to the project.
